Teach Yourself to Think

Berfikir memikirkan bagaimana fikiran harus ditunggani. Adakah ia berjalan sendiri atau sendirian dijalanan. Tidak ketahuan, tidak diajar atau kurang ajar atau tak pernah belajar. Barangkali berfikir semahu-mahunya atau mahu ke tidak dipaksa dan dikerah berfikir kerana masalah yang tak diundang serta sengaja dicari. Adakah berfikir sifatnya semulajadi seperti bernafas yang tak perlu diajar sedari lahir atau kalau tak diajar nanti mati atau bernafas di tempat yang selamat sahaja agar tiada bau busuk dan hamis menyelinap masuk ke rongga hidung. Kita gemar perkara yang mudah dan tak perlu pening-pening memikirkan cara fikiran kita berfikir. Itu kan buang masa dan tenaga. Tapi ini bagi yang nak tahu…

Dalam “Teach Yourself to Think” karangan Edward De Bono beliau menyatakan dalam senario permotoran berfikir adalah pemandu manakala kebijaksanaan pula adalah kuasa kuda. Kuasa kuda tidak boleh diubah melainkan diubah enjinnya. Berlainan pula sifat berfikir dimana ia boleh berubah dan ditingkatkan. Jika pemandu kurang mahir diberi Ferrari pasti penggunaannya tidak mencapai kuasa kuda yang semaksimum. Andai dilatih pasti pemandu itu akan menikmati kuasa kuda yang dimiliki oleh Ferrari tersebut.

Kesimpulannya, Kita boleh mengubah perkara yang tidak tetap dan begitulah sebaliknya. Berfikir boleh dilatih kerana ia perkara yang tidak tetap. Kereta pasti beroda empat manakala motosikal beroda dua. Itu tetap dan sudah ditetapkan jangan pula inginkan ketetapan baru.

Cara berfikir boleh diubah seperti pemandu yang dilatih membawa jentera F1. Bolehkah kita memandu kenderaan F1? Jawapannya boleh tapi hanya untuk bersiar-siar bersama keluarga. Lagi boleh kalau kita cukup kaya dan mampu membazirkan kuasa kudanya dengan tujuan itu. Nah bersediakah kita berfikir memikirkan bagaimana meningkatkan tahap pemikiran kita.

Sekiranya kita rasa bagus dan berpuashati dengan apa yang telah diberi oleh otak kita kepada kehidupan kita, ungkapan di atas sangat tepat untuk kita. Sebab itu kita selalu dengar “ Tuntutlah ilmu sehingga ke liang lahad”. Jangan jemu meniti titian ilmu. Kutip dan amalkan secara rapi, teliti dan penuh berhemah. Semoga kita dirahmati oleh Allah S.W.T hendaknya. Ilmu yang bermanfaat adalah ilmu yang dikongsi dan disebarkan bukan disimpan dalam otak atau di rak-rak buku.

Jomlah berubah macam jom hebohlah pulak. Semuakan nampak seronok di Jom Heboh. Jadi cari ilmu pun kena berseronok dan tanam diingatan ianya seronok sambil guna ayat yang menyeronokkan untuk ajak teman-teman cari ilmu.

Berusahalah mencari ilmu sebab ianya tidak datang bergolek …. Ianya harus dicari, dibajai dan disedekahkan kerana ilmu itu milik Allah S.W.T jua.
